American "Jimi " Stratocaster
American Jimi Stratocaster
Jimi Hendrix has been my all time favorite guitarist since I was twelve years old. I had to get a guitar because I wanted to learn right away. I couldn't afford a Fender Stratocaster so I got a cheap electric and started taking lessons. I learned the basic chords and started experimenting with sounds, feedback, and whatever else I could come up with. My parents were not impressed but let me play on anyways. I found others who had wanted to play in a band, we got together and started playing a few of Jimi's songs.

Not a quality sound but it was fun, something to do and you have to start somewhere. I just kept playing and learning as time went by. Eventually I did buy a Fender Stratocaster, and that was a great day; I played even more than ever before. I made it a habit to play every day, I just had a deep desire to get better, learn more lead and rhythm , and refine those skills. I have since been in several bands, had a lot fun doing gigs, meeting new musicians , and buying various guitars and amplifiers. Music is a important part of my life and a great escape from day to day life. My most recent guitar is the Jimi Hendrix model, a cool guitar that has a great sound and feel.

This is my first Flying V
This is a first for me, I like the action on this guitar, low and fast, great sound. I have changed out the shiny pick-ups for black p-90's, and changed all the hardware to black. Just a cool guitar with a unique feel. Will post more pictures of it once it is complete.

The SG has a unique feel to it, a slim body with a tight action, probably liked it since I started listening to Black Sabbath when I was a kid ; I am a Toni Iommi fan. Great guitar for slide playing.

Epiphone Les Paul
I have always loved guitars, but the Les Paul is one that I have not used a lot, but has a deep growling sound. It is a heavy guitar but has a cool sound.
